The government of West Bengal has come up with an another housing assignment“ Nijashree Housing Scheme”. In this housing project government has provides flats to those people whose monthly incomes are not sufficient to purchase their own accommodations near the city. The West Bengal Housing Board has launched this housing scheme under the department of urban development. Under this housing schemes people will get the housing units on affordable prices.

WB Nijashree Prokolpo 2023

The West Bengal Housing Department has come up with a new housing unit scheme under which it is providing reasonable priced housing units to fulfill the housing needs of people belong to low-income and middle income group. Under the Nijashree Prokolpon scheme, every single block containing of 16 flats will be constructed, each 1BHK flat having the area of 378 sq ft and 2BHK flats contains the area of 559 sq ft. The housing units under this project will be allotted through a lottery system.

Eligibility Criteria For WB Nijashree 2/3 BHK Flats Housing Scheme

• The applicant person must be the native of West Bengal.
• If the applicant person applied for LIG flats then his monthly family income should be less than Rs 15,000.
• The applicant applied for MIG flats then their family income should be less than Rs 30,000.
• The applicant or their any family member should not owned any pucca house in his/her name in the state.
• Then The applicant should be a permanent resident of same district in which the housing unit project is located.
• The proof of familyincome certificate must be issued by employer or Block Development Officer or any other competent authority.

• If the Applicant person applied for 1BHK flat then he needs to pay Rs 2,500 at the time of registration of the flat.
• The registration fee for 2BHK flat is Rs 5,000 which is pay at the time of registration of flat.
• The registration amount will be refunded to the failed applicants within 30 days after issuance of the allotment letter of flat.
