DEO Secondary Hansraj Jajewal said that this event will be organized at the block level from July 5 to 25, at the district level from July 26 to August 10 and at the state level from August 20 to 22. The Chairman of the Youth Board in VC directed the officers to coordinate with the government and non-government educational institutions of the area to ensure maximum participation of the participants in the festival and for timely preparations.

Jajewal said that along with group folk singing, folk dance, drama, painting, poetry writing, playing classical instruments, opportunities for career guidance will also be provided to the youth by publicizing the public welfare schemes of the state government. For this, an amount of Rs. 2 lakh has been sanctioned for organizing the block level and Rs. 5 lakh for the district level by making the education department the nodal department. Equal opportunities will be given to men and women as well as third gender to participate in the event.
