This scheme has been implemented on 28th April 2020. This scheme will provide full fee reimbursement to about 14 Lakhs students of the state. The budget of this scheme is about Rs. 1880 crores.

There are many types of monetary incentives provided under this scheme:

• This scheme will provide Tuition fee and  hostel fee for the students who are pursuing any type of degree and Engineering degree.
• The students under this scheme will getRs 20,000/- per year.
• There is no mess charges for the students studying from Welfare hostels.Money incentives are as follows-
  • The students pursuing Polytechnic course will get Rs15,000.
  • And The students pursuing ITIcourse will get Rs 10,000.
  • The students pursuing Graduate degree and other courses will get Rs 20,000.

Eligibility Criteria for Jagan Anna Vasathi Deevena 2nd Phase Installment

• The candidates who has Government job employees at their home are not eligible for the scheme.
• The candidates who has anyone availing pension for his/her government services are also exempted from this scheme.
• The students who are pursuing the following courses are eligible-
  • Polytechnic
  • ITI
  • Degree
• The students who want to avail the benefit of this scheme should have enrolled themselves in the following institution-
  • Government or Government Aided institutions
  • Private Colleges affiliated to State Universities/ Boards.

• The family’s annual income of the candidate should be less than Rs 2.5 Lakh per anum.
• The candidates should have wetland land below 10 acres and agricultural land below 25 acres.

YSR Jagananna Vasathi Deevena Scheme Payment Status 2023

The Chief Secretary Satish Chandra, Higher Education Department Andhra Pradesh issued the Guidelines for the implementation of the Jagananna VidyaDeevena.

• With the consent of State Higher Education Regulatory and Monitoring Commission on the fee the colleges will collect the fees from students.
• The college doesn’t collect any other fees or charges from the student.
• This scheme will provide financial help only if the students attendance is equal to more than 75%.
• This scheme is not applicable to deemed and private varsities.
• The students who are studying through distance learning and correspondence courses will not get the benefit of this scheme.
• Management and NRI quotas students are also exempted from this scheme,.
