As there are fewer rains in July in 2020 and excess rain in the month of August, the farmers’ crops have suffered a great loss due to pests and floods.

The Madhya Pradesh government has said that the flood-affected people will be fully compensated. The crop Insurance amount and compensation of the damaged crops will also be given.

Total 21 lakh farmers will get the crop insurance amount. MP Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will transfer the insurance amount of INR.4600 crore to the accounts of total 21 lakh farmers of the state. On the 18^th of September, the insurance amount for the insured crops of Kharif 2019 will be transferred to the farmers’ account.

Earlier it was given on 8th September. Also Last year, due to excess rainfall in various districts the crops of farmers were completely ruined, which had not yet been paid the crop insurance amount, it is proposed to be given to farmers on September 18th.

The insurance of crops was done by the authorized crop insurance companies under the Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme (Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana)which helps to compensate for the loss of crops due to unseasonal rain, low rainfall, cyclone, hailstorm etc. in the state. Crop insurance compensation amount will be sent to all those farmers in the month of September.

According to the information received from the Agriculture Department, under the insurance amount of Kharif 2019, there is a total of 57620 farmers of Harda district who got Rs.109 crore 61 lakh, 231769 farmers in Rajgarh district will get Rs 427 crore, 37 lakh, 143327 farmers in Khargone district got Rs 118 crore 22 lakh.

Rs 381 crore 60 lakh is given to 134409 farmers in Mandsaur district, Rs 157 crore 34 lakh amount will be given to 16347 farmers in Sehore district, 15161 farmers in Dhar district got Rs.195 crore 47 lakhs, Rs. 318 crore 53 lakhs will be provided to 12113 farmers of the Vidisha district.

Rs. 282 crores 80 lakhs will be paid to 100259 farmers of Ratlam district. In addition to the above districts, the farmers of the remaining districts will be paid an insurance amount of Rs 2623 crore 23 lakh.

MP Kisan Muavja Yojana List Key Points

• The government of Madhya Pradesh will waive the debts of the farmers and farmers with regular loans will be given an incentive of up to Rs.25, 000.
• Only the loans taken from the cooperative bank under this scheme will be forgiven and the loans taken from other banks will not be waivered.
• Only those loans are waived which are taken by farmers for crops only.
• Under the scheme of MP Kisan Muavja 2021, loans of up to 2 lakh rupees will be waived.
• Small and marginal farmers of Madhya Pradesh will get benefit of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria For MP Kisan Karj Muavja List

1. This scheme is only for the benefit of farmers of Madhya Pradesh.
2. The farmer should have valid address proof and identity proof.
3. The farmer should have Loan papers of the bank.
4. Both landowners and tenants will be eligible for the scheme.
5. Apart from this, farmers who are not taking any insurance under any scheme will be eligible for this scheme.

1. The farmer should have an Aadhar card and a voter ID card.
2. The bank should have a bank passbook.
3. The farmer should have land records and a self-declaration certificate.
