You can visit the Vandalur Zoo six days a week, from Wednesday to Monday. Tuesdays are always a closed day at the zoo. Vandalur Zoo is open from 9 AM until 6 PM. The best times to visit Vandalur Zoo are between 9 and 11 in the morning and 3 to 6 in the afternoon, when the weather is most favourable.

The cost to enter Vandalur Zoo recently changed. The cost of admission to the Vandalur Zoo has increased. The current cost of admission to the Chennai Zoo is 90 Rs for adults and 50 Rs for children (ages 5 to 12). The cost of the zoo battery car is Rs 100 for adults and Rs 50 for kids. Tickets for the lion and deer safaris cost 100 and 60 rupees for adults and kids, respectively.
A camera costs 25 rupees, and a handycam costs 150 rupees. The cost of a video camera is 50 Rs. In the Arignar anna zoological park, battery-powered cars are run on a recurring schedule for adults at a fee of $100 and for kids at a cost of $50. The fee of the (currently closed) lion and deer safari is $100 for adults and $60 for kids. Both foreigners and citizens of India pay the same prices.
Depending on how long the queue is, the wait time for a battery car travel will be longer. A round-trip in the car is predicted to take at least 45 minutes, with 5 stops made at predetermined locations. The cars are open on the sides, front, and back and only have a roof.

Vandalur Zoo Tickets Booking Online 2023
By logging into the official Arignar Anna zoological park website, tickets may also be ordered online. GST of 18 is added to the final bill amount for online reservations. To be admitted, you must print the tickets at the counter.
To purchase any additional tickets, a minimum of one adult admission ticket must be purchased. The maximum number of tickets that can be ordered online is 200.
