Finance minister of Assam has mentioned this scheme in Act 40. So this will be a small gift for all the daughters from government, in which girls on their marriage will get Financial help of rupees 80,000/- for buying gold.

Let’s check the eligibility criteria for taking the benefits of Assam Arundhati Gold Scheme 2022 :

• The age of bride should be 18 years at the time of marriage and the age of groom should be 21 years at the time of marriage.
• There should be Registration of marriage under the special marriage act 1954.
• Only those marriages will come under this scheme which is done after December 1, 2019.
• Only those candidates can get this financial help who registered their marriage on or after 1^st January 2020.
• After Registration candidates can apply for Arundhati Gold Scheme 2022.
• Only those brides will be able to get Benefits of this scheme, whose parents annual income is not more than 5 lacs.
• This financial help for gold will be given to those girls, who are marrying for first time.
• Except Indigenous Communities and Tea Tribes girls, the Educational qualification should be at least 10^th passed. There is no qualification for tea tribes girls, because there are no school in tea gardens areas.

Documents needed for Arundhati Gold Scheme

So there are some Documents which are needed to check the eligibility criteria of the girl, who is getting married :

• Document for age’s proof of bride and groom as well ( The Certificate of matriculation and for tribal girls, there should be birth certificate from any health care center )
• Copy of Registration certificate of marriage under the special marriage act 1954.
• Income certificate of father in law and father of girl ( income should not be more than 5 lacs )
• Bank details of Beneficiaries ( bank passbook’s first page scanned copy ).
• Proof of first marriage ( This scheme is not applicable for the people who are getting married for second time ).

• Firstly visit the official website of Department of Revenue and Disaster Management, Assam, https://revenueassam.nic.in/arundhati
• Now from home page choose Citizen option and then click on the Apply Online from drop down list.
• you can choose language option, in which you can fill form in language which is suitable for you.
• Now fill the form with details such as Bride Name, Age, DOB then Groom Name, Age, DOB, Aadhar Numbers of Bride and Groom, Father’s Name, Mobile Number etc.
• Attach all necessary documents such as Income Certificate, Marriage Registration Certificate, Age Proof Certificate etc.
• Now after verification enter captcha code and  click on Submit button.
• After submitting the form you will get Application number, take a printout of its for future use.

Track Arundhati Gold Scheme Status Check

• Go to the official website of Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
• Now on home page choose Citizen option.
• From Drop Down menu choose the option Track Status.
• Now enter your application number witch you got at the time of registration.
• Enter your Mobile Number and Captcha Code and click on Track Status tab.
• Now you can see your application status on your mobile or computer screen.
