Today we will share with you another new scheme i.e“Assam Tractor Distribution Scheme”. This scheme has launched by Assam Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana (CMSGUY). This scheme is initiated mainly for the benefit of the farmers.

The main motive of this scheme is to develop and boost the agricultural sector and help the farmers to rise their income source. The Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal has made so many schemes for the welfare of farmers of the State so that they do work hard with devotion to revitalizing the agriculture sector.

Assam Tractor Distribution Scheme In CMSGUY 2022

This Assam Tractor scheme will provide one tractor farmers and it will also provide the necessary agricultural accessories to each village at subsidized rates.

The state govt. will distribute approx 10,109 tractors in the first phase. This tractor distribution scheme will cover all the 26,000 villages of the entire state. In first phase total 10,109 tractors will be distributed under this scheme.

This scheme has been organized by the State Agriculture Department. In This scheme will provide tractors to the farmers on subsidized price from the state government. This scheme is the subpart of Chief Minister Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana. The main goal of this scheme is to double the income of the farmers along with development of the agricultural sector in the state by the year 2022.

The state government is spending the total amount of INR 1000 crores for the successful implementation of this scheme. The selection of the groups of farmers  will be done by a District Level Committee (DLC) to be chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the District.

Eligibility Criteria of Assam Tractor Subsidy Scheme

• This tractor distribution scheme is not for the individual person,this scheme is for the group of persons. The individual person cannot be avail the benefits of this scheme.
• The group of farmers having 8-10 members who are in majority age will apply for this scheme.
• In The group of farmers should be of same village.
• There is a condition that the group of persons must be owned common bank account.
• Each member must have to give the land and crop records individually and they all have to do signature jointly on the application form.
• There should be only one person from each family is eligible for this scheme.

Apply Online Assam Tractor Distribution Scheme 2022 Application/ Registration Form

• The Assam Department of Agriculture launched a Mega Mission to  select the farmers of the state farmers through Data Access Objects (DAOs), advertisements in daily newspapers, telecast, broadcast, pamphlets, brochures etc.
• The group of applicants must submit the applications in the prescribed format to the District Agriculture Officer who will present the applications before DLC.
• One group from each village has been selected by the DLC and a waiting list having deposit of at least 10% of the total price of the tractor unit in the bank account of the group .
• The decision taken by the DLC shall be final and must be binding on the applicants/groups.
• The Member Secretary will notify the names of the selected groups.

Subsidy Provide under CMSGUY Scheme 2022

1. The farmers will be provided with 70% subsidy from the government.This amount is about Rs.5.5 lakhs.
2. The next 20% loan has been provided by the bank as a loan.
3. 10% of the amount will be paid by the applicant member group.

1. The applicants will also have the option to choose the  brand/model of tractor unit from the list notified by the State Government

2. The Department of Agriculture will publish the authorized dealer’s list and approved rates of tractor.
