Features of Kisan Sarvoday Scheme

1. The main motive to launch this scheme is to provide free electricity to those farmers of Gujarat whose agricultural income is not sufficient to spent more part of their income for consumption of electricity.

3. Hon’ble Energy minister Mr.Sourabh Patel renamed this scheme from Dikri Yojana to Kisan Sarvoday Yojana.

Gujarat Kisan Sarvoday Yojana 2022 – 1^st Phase

In first phase of this scheme Gujarat government will cover around 1055 villages of the state and provide free electricity to farmers in day time for agriculture purpose. Main motive of the government under this scheme is to cover around 17.25 lakh farmers of the state.

Under this scheme farmers will get the benefit of electricity in 2 slots from electricity tower which provides the electricity between 5 A.M to 9 P.M. Government will provides 17.25 electricity connections which will be divided in 153 groups.

In this scheme government will provide three phase electricity connection to the farmers for 8 hours in a day time. Some farmers will get the electricity connection in day time and other will get in night or some will be get partially day or night.

Kisan Sarvoday Yojana Eligibility Criteria

1. This Kisan Sarvoday scheme is only for the welfare of farmers of Gujarat.
2. Applicant farmer should be the resident of Gujarat state only.

Documents required for this scheme:

1. Aadhar card and voter ID card of applicant farmer.
2. Residential proof which indicates that the applicant is the permanent residential of Gujarat.
