For mothers and new mothers, Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) was initiated by The National Rural Health Mission (NRHM). The main motive of this yojana is to monitor maternal and neonatal mortality with the availability and economics of institutional delivery services for impoverished pregnant women. The state and UTs are divided into two categories called high-performing states and low-performing states these categories are divided according to the institutional delivery rates of states and UTs. The Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, eight EAG states, and the North-Eastern States are also included in these ten states.

• ASHA worker’s incentives:- under (CSSM) child survival and safe motherhood program the conventional birth assistants called (Dai) have been trained. In the distribution services of this scheme, these employees are also incorporated.

• Professional help of cesarean:- every woman under this scheme is given Rs. 1500 if the government-employed health professional is absent then the pregnant women can recruit a private cesarean for healthcare during childbirth.

• Compensation- laparoscopy or tubectomy:-  according to the family welfare scheme, compensation is also given to pregnant women in case of laparoscopy or tubectomy.

• Quick cash Payment:- by accelerating the cash payment process financially this scheme helps pregnant women. Under certain terms and conditions, it provides all health workers or auxiliary nurse midwives with five thousand rupees imprinted funds.

• Collaboration- private sector:- in case of insufficient infrastructural facilities in any Indian UTs or state for the service for delivery in that particular area, this scheme also collaborated with private clinics, nursing homes, and hospitals, etc.
