This Shrikhand Yatra started from Singhad which is 6,000 feet from sea level and ends at 17,150. The people belonging to Punjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat become part of this Yatra.

श्रीखंड महादेव की यात्रा शिव से जुडी हुई है. यह मंदिर कुल्लू जिले के सबसे ऊँचे धार्मिक स्थलों में से एक है. हर साल बहुत से शिव भक्त इस यात्रा से जुड़ कर इस मंदिर में जाते है. रास्ते से लेकर मदिर पहुँचने तक के लिए आपको कम से कम ३० किलोमीटर पैदल यात्रा करनी होगी. जिसमे आपको कई तरह से पहाड़, ऊँचा नीचा रास्ता और ग्लेसिअर पार करने होगे.

यह एक कठिन यात्रा होने के बाद भी लोग इस यात्रा को पूरा करने के बाद घरो में आते है.

पिछले कुछ सालो के चलते इस साल श्रीखंड महादेव यात्रा 11 जुलाई से 24 तक रहेगी. जिसके लिए जो भी यात्री इस यात्रा में भाग लेना चाहते है उन्हें पंजीकरण करवाना जरुरी है. केवल 15 साल से ऊपर के यात्री ही इस यात्रा में भाग ले सकते है. अधिकारियो ने भी वन विभाग को पैदल चलने वाले रास्ते को एक सप्ताह पहले ही ठीक करने के आदेअश जारी कर दिए है.

श्रीखंड महादेव यात्रा के पंजीकरण के समय सभी को पंजीकरण की फ़ीस भी जमा करवानी होगी.
