1. The scheme names as PM Kisan is a Central government scheme and it is 100% funding from Government of India.
2. This scheme has start operating from 1.12.2018.
3. This scheme will provide financial help to the farmers every year.
4. In This scheme will provide financial help of Rs.6,000/- per year in three equal installments.
5. This financial help will be provided to small and marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of upto 2 hectares.
6. The family structure under this scheme will be husband, wife and minor children.
7. This is the responsibility of the state government and UT administration to identify the farmer families who are eligible for this scheme
8. The financial aid will be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
9. The first instalment under this scheme for the period 1.12.2018 to 31.03.2019 is to be provided in the financial year itself to the bank accounts of farmers.

1. The people who are economically sound are not eligible for this scheme.
2. The people who are Institutional Land holders are exempted from this scheme
3. The farmer families who are Former and present holders of constitutional posts.
4. Former and present Ministers/ State Ministers and former/present Members of LokSabha/ RajyaSabha/ State Legislative Assemblies/ State Legislative Councils,former and present Mayors of Municipal Corporations, former and present Chairpersons of District Panchayats all are exempted from the benefits of this scheme.
5. All the government service employees either serving or retired officers and employees of Central/ State Government Ministries /Offices/Departments are exempted from this scheme.
6. All people who are taking pension equal to or more than Rs.10,000.
7. Persons who are paying Income tax.
8. All professionals like Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, and Architects etc.are exempted from this scheme.
